DETAIL: Oliver Byrne Warman was elected to the RBA in 1984 and the ROI in 1989. He studied Fine Art at Exeter University and Modern History with War Studies at Oxford. His work is in collections such as The Emir of Kuwait, The Sultan of Oman, some members of the Royal Family, The Crown Commissioners, The Crown Princess of Persia, Warbugs, all the clearing banks, The Co-Op, Shell UK etc. He painted English and French landscapes in muted impressionist palettes. He exhibited at the RA Summer Exhibition, RBA, New English Arts Club, ROI, RWA and RSMA as well as at the Haan Gallery Bath. In 1990 had a solo exhibition at Bowmoore Gallery. Lived latterly in Verteillac France, died in 2017.
