DETAIL: Herdis Gerlardi was a pupil of Axel Jurgensen and Immanuel Ibsens School Of Fine Art from 1940-1942. She became famous for her charming portraits of people and crowds in the streets of Copenhagen. She exhibited at the Artists Fall Exhibitions from 1944-1946 at Charlottenborg for over 20 years from 1949-1972.
