DETAIL: Roy Young Ferguson was an accomplished painter, caricaturist, illustrator and brother of artist Daniel Ferguson. Ferguson taught at Glasgow School of Art and exhibited at the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society where he was a member. Ferguson also exhibited at the RA, RSA, RBA, NEAC, RGI and the Paris Salon where he was awarded a Silver Medal in 1952. His work can be found in Glasgow Art Gallery and Newport Art Gallery, Gwent. He was an elected member of the RSW.
