DETAIL: Well listed illustrator who’s highly distinctive work of the 1950’s are extensively held in the Auld Kirk Museum in Scotland. Griffith was a commercial artist who also painted fairy and fantasy paintings for his own pleasure. They are characterised by attention to detail and sureness of hand. This work dating to 1951 and in unusually fine condition.
