DETAIL: Born and studied in Scotland and later studied further in Paris. He later lived in Islington London working as a graphic designer with a claim to fame of designing the Rice Krispies “Snap Crackle Pop” graphics. He seemed to have a connection with the stage0 a work of his of Sadlers Wells Theatre was shown on Antiques Roadshow and this work shows the same theatrical influence.
