DETAIL: Studied 1932-37 at UWE Bristol, where her teachers included the painter Evan Charlton, whom she married. Her work consisted of “scenes of interiors and gardens” and was widely exhibited in group shows including RWA, WAC , Royal National Eisteddfod and Howard Roberts Gallery in Cardiff. WAC, Newport and Swansea art galleries hold her work. Newport museum and art gallery gave her a retrospective in 1933. She lived in Porthkerry, near Barry , South Glamorgan.
