DETAIL: Born in Worcestershire and educated in London. For 17 years she worked for architects in Barbados, New York, Toronto, Piano Rogers in Paris on the Pompidou Centre and also at Farrell & Grimshaw in London. She then went on to study art at Byam Shaw School and later at the Royal Academy Schools then City & Gulds of London – where she taught for the next 15 years. She won the Rodney Burn Drawing Prize in 1981 and has exhibited consistently at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions since 1984.
