DETAIL: A beautiful floral garden scene very much of the era of Cedrick Lockwood Morris (1889-1984). Pieterson was born in Ireland and studied at the royal college of art and the Slade In London. She lived in Chelsea and was married to a fellow painter Charles Cundall- they were married in 1923 and lived in Paris. She exhibited at the new English Arts Club extensively from 1921 through to 1951 and at there Royal Academy from 1939-1970 a total of over 50 works.
